Intellectual Property Policy

This policy sets out who owns the content published on Damj, how it may be used, and how to report an intellectual-property infringement. It is governed by the Saudi Copyright Law and related regulations.

The Damj name, logo, interface design, written content, reports, calculators and databases are owned by or licensed to the establishment. They may not be copied, republished, used to derive other works, or used commercially without prior written permission.

• Photos, plans and descriptions uploaded by an owner remain the owner's property.
• By uploading them the owner grants Damj a non-exclusive licence to display and technically edit them (crop, compress, watermark) for the purpose of presenting and marketing the property.
• The licence ends when the listing is deleted, except for copies retained by law or as evidence in a dispute.
• The owner confirms they hold the right to publish what they upload, and will not upload photos of a property that is not theirs or images taken from other platforms.

• Scraping or bulk-copying listing data to build a parallel database.
• Republishing listing photos or descriptions elsewhere without the owner's permission.
• Using the Damj name or logo in a way that implies a partnership or endorsement that does not exist.
• Using any government body's identity or logo within content published through the platform.

If content on the platform infringes an intellectual-property right you hold, report it through the complaints page with the content link, a description of the right, evidence of your ownership, and working contact details. We review the report, withdraw the disputed content during review, and inform you of the outcome.

The publisher of the content is told about the report and may respond with evidence of their right. If the content proves legitimate it is restored and both parties are informed.

This policy is governed by the laws of Saudi Arabia and does not affect any party's right to approach the competent authorities.
